The Rockford Fosgate P300-10T is a 10″ loaded subwoofer enclosure with a 300 watt amplifier that is built-in to the enclosure itself.This 10″ self powered subwoofer comes in a low profile, truck style enclosure that can fit behind the seat of single cab trucks, or save you some space in the trunk and cargo area if you have a car or SUV.
Optimized 10 Inch Subwoofer
The woofer that comes with this enclosure has been specifically designed to work as a high-output, low impedance subwoofer, optimized for the 300-watt amp that is built in. The subwoofer isn’t a standard Rockford Fosgate subwoofer. Instead, the subwoofer is specifically designed to work with the enclosureand the low impedance, 300 watt amplifier.
300 Watt Low Impedance Amplifier
The built in amp operates at very low impedance to maximize efficiency and deliver 300 watts to the subwoofer. The amp has a low bass crossover, bass EQ, and a phase switch to quickly and easily change the phase 180-degrees to optimize output for your vehilce.
Multiple Input Signal & Turn on Options
You can connect the subwoofer with either speaker wire inputs or traditional RCA cables. If you have an aftermarket head unit, you can use the RCA pre-outs and an RCA cable. If you are installing itwith a factory head unit, or if you just want to grab audio signal from rear speakers, you can splice off and use the high-level input signal from existing speakers.
Intelligent On/Off Functionality
The Rockford Fosgate P300-10T can turn on when it senses audio signal. This means that you do not need to run a remote, turn-on wire. This makes installation significantly easier. You don’t need a switch and you don’t need to run a wireall the back to your head unit. When the amplifier “sees” audio signal, either from the RCA cables or the speaker wire inputs, the amplifier will turn on. When the audio signal goes away, the amplifier will turn itself off.
