Our Kicker 12″ Comp C and CX400.1 subwoofer kit with enclosure gives you a perfect setup with a subwoofer, an amplifier that will provide enough power, and the perfect amount of airspace. You do not need to worry about wiring to the correct impedance or calculating the correct air space for each woofer.

Everything is matched for you. This kit is perfect if you want to add a pair of subs to your vehicle with minimal installation work required. An amplifier wiring kit is not included. If you do not already have one, you will need to purchase one separately.

Kicker Comp C 12″ Subwoofer + Box

The Kicker Comp C 12″ loaded enclosure includes the 12″ Comp C subwoofer and it comes pre-installed in a ported box. The advantage of the loaded enclosure is that it makes installation super easy. You don’t need to worry about the enclosure volume and the enclosure displacement.You don’t need to worry about the enclosure design and you don’t need to worry about internal wiring. The engineers as Kicker that design the Comp C subwoofer have taken care of that for you. Kicker has optimized this enclosure to work with the subwoofer to maximize performance and output with this slot ported box design.

Kicker CX Series Monoblock Amplifier

This loaded enclosure subwoofer kit comes standard with a Kicker CX series, 400 watt amp. The CX400.1 puts out 300 watts RMS at 2 ohms and is a perfect match for the 12″ Comp C subwoofer. The amplifier is a full-size amplifier, but very small given its output. The CX400.1 uses class D circuitry for maximum efficiencyand can be mounted at virtually any angle.

Amp Wiring Kit + Speaker Wire Included

We include a 4 AWG amp wiring kit with RCA cable and 15 feet of 12 AWG speaker wire. The wire used in both the amp kit and the speaker wire is 100% oxygen free copper for maximum output and performance. Oxygen free copper is the best conductor for the money for use in automotive electronics and will ensurethat your subwoofer and amplifier deliver maximum output. Don’t settle for copper coated aluminum junk. We include the good stuff.

Straightforward Wiring to a 2 Ohm Load

The Comp C loaded enclosure is pre-wired to a 2 ohm load and there are terminal posts on the outside of the enclosure. Wire postiive to positive and negative to negative and you should be good to go. See the diagram below.
