This Kicker 10″ CompRT and CX400.1 Loaded Subwoofer Package gives you a perfect setup with a subwoofer, an amplifier that will provide enough power, and the perfect amount of airspace. You do not need to worry about wiring to the correct impedance or calculating the correct air space. Everything is designed and engineered by the same folks that designed the Comp RT subwoofers. This kit is perfect if you want to add a low profile subwoofer that delivers the sound output of a full size sub. The CompRT sounds anything but shallow.

Kicker 10″ CompRT Loaded Enclosure

The Kicker CompRT 10″ subwoofer enclosure comes with a passive radiator to give you the output and performance of a ported enclosure without the port noise. These subwoofers are among our favorites.The CompRT subwoofers handle pretty good power at 400 watts RMS. When you couple that with the low profile box, you are able to get really nice bass output without sacrificing cabin or trunk space. This box is one of the bestsubwoofer values in car audio.

Kicker CX400.1 Monoblock Amplifier

The Kicker CX400.1 monoblock amplifier puts out 300 watts RMS at 2 ohms, falling right in line with the power handling of the 10-inch CompRT. The CX400.1 is very compact and uses class D circuitry to efficiently deliver power to the subwoofer.This amp comes with 12dB/octave crossovers and a subsonic filter at 25 Hz to limit the super-low frequencies that can damage the subwoofer.

Amp Wiring Kit + Speaker Wire Included

We include an amp wiring kit and 15 ft. of 12 AWG speaker wire with this subwoofer kit. The CX400.1 comes with an 8 AWG wiring kit and if you choose the upgrade to the CX800.1, it comes with a 4 AWG wiring kit. Both kits includea 17 ft. RCA cable and use 100% oxygen-free copper for the best possible performance. We also include 15 feet of speaker wire to run from the amplifier to the loaded subwoofer and it also uses 100% oxygen-free copper.

Straightforward Wiring to a 2 Ohm Load

Wiring the loaded subwoofer enclosure to the amplifier is straightforward. You just need to connect positive on the amp to positive on the subwoofer box and repeat the same process for the negative terminals. The subwoofer box is pre-wired to a 2 ohm load. You do not need to do any internal wiring with the loaded enclosure.Please refer to this diagram below.

Bass Knob Recommended

We recommend adding the CXARC bass knob to your subwoofer kit. The bass knob plugs into the amplifier and allows you to quickly adjust the subwoofer level without fumbling with your head unit. No two songs are recorded the exact same. Some songshave a ton of bass while others have no bass. When listening to music, the bass knob allows you to easily adjust the bass level to your listening preference. In addition, if you turn the bass up for one song and then next song has a ton of bass, you can quicklyturn the bass down, reducing distortion quickly and protecting your investment. If you have had a bass knob before, you know what we mean. If you haven’t had a bass knob before, it’s worth it. Trust us.
