The JL Audio 10W6v3 and XD600/1 subwoofer packages include products from two of JL’s best product lines. The W6 subwoofer deliver hard-hitting, punchy bass with that “Feel the kick-drum in your chest” type of output. The XD series amplifiersare the go-to among JL Audio pros thanks to their incredible output, sound quality, and thermal management. This is the “Go-to” subwoofer package. If told me, you can only put one subwoofer in your car and it has to be a 10-inch, this is what I would go with.

JL Audio 10W6v3-D4 Subwoofer

The JL Audio W6 subwoofers were forever considered the best subwoofers on the market, prior to the release of the W7. Now on their generation, the W6 offers unmatched output and sound quality, while performing with very little air space requirements. The 10W6’s recommended enclosure volume is only .5 cubic feet, the same size used for many compact 10″ subwoofers. The 10W6 is very efficient, performing with 200-600 watts of RMS power while still giving you accurate, clean bass response.

JL Audio XD600/1v2 600W Monoblock Amplifier

The XD amplifiers are rock solid when it comes to both output and sound quality. Compared to the less expensive RD and JX, the XD is going to sound better, you can drive it harder, it will have more raw output, it has better signal processing, and the chassis is very compact. The XD600/1v2 amp is amazing and for a mono amp, you get many of the technologies used in the HD and the Slash, in a smaller, more affordable package.

4 AWG Amp Wiring Kit + Speaker Wire Included

We include a 4 AWG amp wiring kit with an RCA cable and 15 feet of 12 AWG speaker wire. The wire in both the amp kit and the speaker wire is 100% pure oxygen-free copper to ensure maximum output from the amplifier and subwoofer.

Wire the 4 Ohm DVC Subwoofer in Parallel to a 2 Ohm Load

For the subwoofer, you will want to wire the 4 ohm voice coils in parallel to a 2 ohm load. This will ensure that you get the full 600 watts out of your amplifier for optimum performance and output.Please refer to the diagram below when wiring the subwoofer.

Bass Knob Recommended

We recommend adding the JL Audio HD-RLC bass knob to this package. The bass knob allows you to easily and quickly adjust the subwoofer output. The amount of bass varies from song to song and adding a bass knob allows you to turn the bass up or down to your personal preference.In addition, if a song has too much bass, the bass knob allows you to quickly turn the bass down to prevent damage due to distortion.

Loaded Enclosure Version Available

This subwoofer kit is designed for customers that either already have a subwoofer enclosure with the correct parameters or customers than plan on building a custom box. If you don’t have a box already and don’t plan on building a custom box, checkout theJL Audio W6 loaded enclosure subwoofer kit. The loaded enclosure subwoofer kit uses the same components, but the subwoofer comes pre-installed in a box that was designed and optimized by the same engineers that designed and optimized the 10W6v3 subwoofer. The loaded enclosureallows for easy installation as the subwoofer is pre-installed with a good seal and the voice coils have been pre-terminated to a terminal plate on the outside of the enclosure.
