The Audison Prima APX690 6×9 speakers are probably our best sounding 6x9s, but they will need an amplifier to power them in order to get them to perform. With a 96 db SPL efficiency rating these speakers will definitly shine when given the necessary power. These speakers have a 40mm horn dome tweeter and are acoustically designed to incrse disspersion of the high frequency sound. If you are looking for the best 6×9’s possible and you are willing to spend the money for these speakers and an amplifier to power them, the Audison Prima APX690 is probably the best choice. With 100W RMS/300W Peak rating, we recommend a Rockford Fosgate PBR400x4d or T400x4ad amp to power these speakers.
