Endangering the property of their clients is not found profitable by good lasting companies so they make sure you are insured. If an organization is the least bit reluctant to offer adequate insurance or they fail to mention it, beware.

The fact is, every new technology/creation/improvement/step forward/invention/whatever make some people rich, and also puts people out of work and other people out of business. It happens and it will happen all the time. Who gets always screwed? the weak, the poor, the slow, the lazy. Who always win? The greed, the ambitious, the quick, the powerful.
It doesn't have anything to do with technology. It's human nature.
The greed and the ambitious will always use the system and the power to prevail and protect his money. Copyright laws are just another tool the box.
