Honda’s Hydrogen Powered Sports Car

Green was the theme at the LA Auto Show as car manufacturers revealed a whole new line of hybrid, electric, and fuel efficient new cars… but none of them were as stylish as ’s FC Sport Concept Car. The futuristic car is a , zero emission fuel cell supercar. The three seater is lightweight with a low center of gravity and features a powerful electric motor that helps it deliver supercar performance. The eye catching, futuristic design of the car is meant to excite fans of sports cars, not just eco friendly motorists, and its a glimpse at what car design might look like in a post gas engine world. Honda’s FC Sport is only a concept car, and there are currently no plans to enter this zero emission design study model into actual production anytime soon. But the fact that Honda could imagine such a fast, sexy, and green zero emissions hydrogen vehicle means it shouldn’t be long before all the major car companies start building similar vehicles. 2. The Ban on H2 Fuel cell Cars until the year 2015 has been forced on us by the Petroleum Industry.
When 2015 rolls around the Petroleum lobby hopes to extend the moratorium until 2025.
It may take Anti-Trust Action to allow Alternative Fueled Vehicles to be SOLD in the United States.
In the mean time, only limited lease programs will be allowed.

  3. I love seeing that all the top companies are coming out with cool hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, but when will they acually start manufacturing them for the average Joe! Nice vid!

  4. this is lousy information!! how fast does it go? can this turn into a family friendly car/suv? how many miles can you go before adding more water? it would be wonderful if these cars made it into mainstream production and I do hope it happens very soon.

  5. nice but really ugly

  6. once’ u smell hydrogen too much, u die

  7. @42marshmellow are you joshin me by calling me a man? lol
    last time I looked I wasn’t lol

  8. @TheSnowboardbunny hi man, was up

  9. @metallica136 dude if ur saying that it kills the planet ur wrong hydrogen is onw of the least damiging gases like oxogen but if we breath 2 much hydrogen in we die.

  10. hello

  11. The fucked up thing is that they plan on taxing you by the mile if you drive an electric or alternative energy car that they’re not able to profit off of. If everyone would revolt and overthrow these greedy fucks we could start to better our lives, sadly humans don’t care anymore. They’re too caught up in mcdonalds and t.v. . . Mindless Slob Motherfuckers

  12. Oil companies will never let alternative energy cars start mass production/development, they would lose trillions upon trillions of dollars. We have the technology to fully convert to electric, there may be a few drawbacks to batteries but the overall advantage completely trumphs the drawbacks. It’s sad there is such greed among big corporations and banks

  13. the opening cutscene thing took like half the video

  14. the honda looks simular to the Dogde M4s Interceptor turbo from the 80s

  15. yes.. it wont be long before more corporations put money to their concept department to make another useless car, thank goodness..

  16. hydrogen is way over hyped

  17. @Die4Futbol where does the hydrogen come from -> water, how?-> electricity, how? by a coal fired power plant ( theres to many uneducated fear mongerers for nuclear to power the majority of the market)

  18. that’s sum f*cked up sh*t, if you you have the technology, why the hel would u not apply it to the cars of today? you would make millions and u wouldnt f*ck up the earth with all them emissions? WTF?

  19. So what IS the ‘super car performance’ from the electric motor.
    Vague shit…

  20. @art33556677 What you have to understand is that it’s corporated…Shit!

  21. looks like a bugatti copy

  22. @art33556677 one of the reasons they don’t put these cars in production is because the gas companies will go out of buisness and shit.

  23. @art33556677 competely agree with art.. they introduce it as a concept but then they say that they have no production in mind.. now that´s lame.. so why the fuck they made 100 chinese guys work on the shit, paid them and now: ho ho ho we won´t sell that we just want to waste money..

  24. wow that is crap… why do people even like hondas at this point?

CRX? sure. old skool civic hatch, okay.

the UK mugen civic type r for 64 thousand dollars? WTF.

    honda owners = retawded.

  25. @art33556677

u dont kown what is CONCEPT??????

it’s a IDEA for other cars…they test some kind of tecnology and disgn in the concept cars, so they observe how this is good or not.. viable or not…..
it’s really expensive cars…for a few buyers they are just testing tecnology making dreams cars…it’s not for everyone… but many models from this company now….can get some stuff used in this car…;D
sorry about de english i’m brazilian..
