Top News: to recall Lexus GX 460

WASHINGTONToyota will recall the 2010 Lexus GX 460 in order to look at the potential problem of the vehicle rolling over.

This recall will be for the 6,000 vehicles sold December 2009.

issued a surprising “Don’t Buy” warning for the vehicle after tests showed that the automobile could roll over under certain . Toyota is now stopping sales on any new GX460s and is carrying out tests on all of its SUVs.

Since no official announcement has yet been made by Toyota, the above statement was released by an official only under the condition of anonymity.

Toyota has agreed today to pay $16.4 million in government fines rather than trying to take the government to court. This is because the automaker did not admit to a problem with faulty brake pedals until 3 months after it discovered the problem existed.

The law states that a manufacture must report the problem within 5 days of a defect being found.

The automaker has nonetheless denied liability, although paying the fine is taken as an admission of guilt by Toyota.

San Francisco resident, Jack Reid, says “Toyota is really in a mess with their vehicles. They need to put public safety ahead of their own profits. I was all for buying a Prius when my latest car stops being efficient, but I have my doubts right now.”

  2. frist law is an object at rest stay an less an unblanced force acts on it for exmaple the rolling chiar will stay at rest untill i push it and once i push it it will roll unitll gravity stops it. the second law states f= m x a
it takes more force to move a chair with someone in it than it does when there is no mass on the chair
third for ever action there is a equal reaction
the action force is me pushing on the chiar and the reaction is the chiar moving

  3. Hmmm… I'd always thought the Audi problem was actually traced to a close proximity between the gas and brake pedals. That the cause was a combination between poor design and driver error.
