Prime Minister Winston Churchill sat in a jeep as he observed attentively the historic landings at Normandy. Also, General George S. Patton chose a jeep as a substitute of a staff car for his trip to Fatale, Morocco, when he accepted the surrender of the French resident general there.
As a matter of fact, Hollywood came into the limelight and Jeeps have been used in Hollywood movies like Four Jills in a Jeep.
