Well my husband and I had decided in march that we were going to start trying. Which for us was a big deal because when we first started dating he had a big issue with commitment simply because he had been screwed over way to many times. The biggest one for him was when he left for basic for the Army and came home early to find his So needless to say it took a while to get him to trust again. We had a party at our house and everyone was drinking but I held back because something just felt different. Well I went the next day and bought a test. I didnt take it for like a week because I didnt want to get excited then be shot down but I just couldnt wait any longer! I took the test one day first thing in the morning while my husband was still asleep. It came out as pregnant! It was so hard to see because the line was so faint, I had to hold it really close to the light to see it. Well I didnt know if it was a sure sign or not but just the idea of being pregnant had me jumping up and down (not literally!) and so I woke up my husband ever so gently and told him that I thought we were pregnant. He looked straight at me with those cute sleepy eyes of his and said 'Oh hell no!' I had to laugh. I said 'I think so hunny!' thats when he reached up and put his hand on the side of my face and gave me that look, the look that makes me fall for him all over again. Thats how I knew he was happy, he didn't even have to say it. And then I almost cried when he told me he knew there was something different about me because I was even more beautiful everyday.Well the suprise came in when we found out we were 4 months pregnant!!!! We actually had gotten pregnant on our 1 year wedding anniversary!
