What Is So Special About The 2007 GLI Fahrenheit?

Germany has invented and improved many of the things we use today. One of the best so far is the 2007 Volkswagen Jetta GLI. Everyone knows that German are high quality, reliable, and down right gorgeous. So what makes the GLI stand out from the rest? Well, great gas mileage for one thing and the performance on this vehicle is to die for. Not to mention it handles like it’s on rails. This car is so hot no wonder they call it the Fahrenheit edition.

This limited edition Jetta is extremely rare and will say so on the steering wheel of the car on a little plate. For an example it reads “12 of 1200″. Which means you have the 12th GLI made out of only 1200. To think you would have something only 1,199 others could say they had.

With all the speed a GLI has you would expect it to be a crammed sports car, but not this German work of genius. This quick little Jetta is over fourteen feet in length and five feet in width. It’s a real head turner too. The exterior color is yellow and the interior color is black with stitching that gives it an amazing contrast.

Making room in the drivers seat is easy enough. Not only do the seats adjust up and down and forward and back, but the steering wheel tilts up and down as well as telescopes in and out. Its interior height is about thirty-eight inches tall giving ample head room.

The GLI Fahrenheit boasts a 200 Horsepower turbo engine and offers a choice between the six-speed manual or the six-speed “direct shift gearbox” automatic transmission for optimal shifting. To make the driver and the front passenger comfortable while riding, the seats in the Fahrenheit are heated sports seats with height and lumbar adjustment. The back seats are divided and provide access to the trunk.

If you think because this vehicle has major pick up that it will cost you an arm and a leg in gas then think again. The VW GLI get anywhere from twenty-three and twenty-five miles per gallon in city. Then it will get around 32 miles per gallon in highway situations. Along with astonishing gas mileage you will also get’ inch wheels which is standard, a sunroof, and is also get the option to upgrade to a six-disc CD changer with satellite radio.

Brilliant German engineering has virtually eliminated the chance of the GLI pulling to one side during hard acceleration. They have include a traction control system to keep you safe on those not so sunny days.

The GLI Fahrenheit is everything that you would want out of a German car. It can be said that there is nothing like it on the market.
