What Are The Duties Of An Automotive Service Management Team?
The Automotive Service Management Team is the person that is responsible for the supervision of the service department for an auto dealer. They act as go-between for the customer, mechanic, and an auto dealer. The major part of their duties includes customer satisfaction and customer relations. They are ultimately the individual who is responsible for productivity and profitability of the service department. Part of this responsibility includes sales, and keeping all customer service records.
The service manager is also responsible for the safety concerns pertaining to the maintenance of all customer vehicles. This requires that they oversee all aspects of mechanical operations to assure that the service provided is at the highest level of quality. Every vehicle serviced by the automotive department must be inspected by the automotive service manager or his representative prior to returning the vehicle to the customer.
The manager must be detail-oriented, particularly in the area of mechanical operations. They will be expected to be able to perform numerous duties simultaneously. They also hire, fire and cover all aspects of employee supervision of the department. Part of these duties includes handling the processing and maintaining of all employee files. They also determine if an employee should be reprimanded or if they have earned a raise.
The auto service manager reports to the dealer or the sales manager and must report to them all situations that pertain to the department, including their proficiency and ability to reach the goals set by the dealership for the department. Part of this process includes creating and running a sales plan. They must not only mange all current business but must be involved in the recruitment of all new customers. This can include individuals in the community with cars that were not sold by the dealer.
Car manufacturers provide new car customers with warranties. The service manager must know what is covered by these warranties and they must also be aware of any recalls that the manufacturer has generated. They also must inform all service department staff of this information.
Typical service managers have a background in automotive repair and will most likely have worked for the dealer he is now employed by. Some dealerships hire from outside of their service staff if it does not create a conflict between employees. No matter where they have gotten their training, it is necessary that this individual has years of experience as a mechanic. Usually it is desired that this experience is on the brand of cars the dealer carries.
Most dealers pay their Automotive Dealership Service Manager very well. This may, in many cases, include a nice benefits package. Many service dealers are also provided with a demo car. This position is typically very attractive to the mechanic who has worked for the dealer for a number of years.
The Automotive Service Manager is taxed with the responsibility of overseeing the general operation of the department. Automotive Service Management is also in charge of supervising the staff of the automotive department and is required to keep employees informed on information about new models being made.

How, after what you've unloaded on us are we to have a good day?
Seriously, you are against the US military providing security; you simply aren't bright enough to know it.
The US armed forces are and always have been simply the best equipped most competent people for assessing the nation's security needs, not you.
Sometimes, spending a dollars to find a stable allie we desperately need in a region is worth more to the nation than trying to figure out what else we might have done after we are cinders once the wrong persons get into office with a bomb.
Other times it only seems the wrong persons are in office, and have the bomb.
But in any case, you lack the resources to tell the difference.
Capitalized, or no, the banking industry as a whole would shake to it's core if certain banks fail ~ because largely they loan money to other banks and institutions if nothing else.
If you've a lick of sense you know this.
The biggest issues however are not big banks or nukes in Pakistan.
The biggest issue I know of is dope in virtually every 'Sally Jane Smith' (name entirely made up and utterly fictitious…) down the street. Dop Dope Dope Dope Dope DOPE ~ ya Dope, is the issue confronting the USA. PERIOD. Dope causes the majority of prostitution, bank failures and every other ill from sick babies to bad fathers.
Extrapolate the data from 1980, before the GOVERNMENT started running dope for the mob, AS A MOB, (I know, I got shot while on a drug interdiction team and catching them) and the drug problem is worse than 5.11 TRILLION dollars per year in illicit sales alone.
That's enough to explain why your being irrational, and worried about things you can't control, while loosing your country to something you potentially could organize against and control.
Dope detection is today a very practical possibility.
Computers are very, very fast and holographic lazer projectors can be made very cheap as can electronic cameras and Fresnel radars of very low wattage's. Put this together with the right software and on every doorway with automatic internet calls to the police and you've got pictures and proof and an automatic police dispatch each and every time someone uses ANYTHING.
THEN NO MORE DOPE. PERIOD.
Why is this not done, as it is done with speeders (a relatively minor sociological problem)? Because, people like yourself would rather spout off about CRAP, than solve basic problems that have always plagued humanity.
Instead you would keep the inventor (ME) considered a date rape druggied daddy forever unable to Patent diddly or found any sort of corporation to fight that which plagues societies throughout history.
Why did the Levies not get fixed before Katrina? DOPE stupid.
We spend so much money on dope we have practically no energy left for anything else.
And if this former police / drug interdiction team member's life is ANY EXAMPLE, the druggies will tend to hunt down and poison any relationship, and potential, displayed by any opponent of dope.
There are not enough of us, we don't get the job done ~ the job all to often results in OUR BEING DONE.
I was shot 13 times by three different firearms held by three different thugs the third day out. And they had fully automatic weapons, better training (hell we were taught outright lies about the effectiveness of the US issue body armor they were issued). And they had that body armor, and we did not. They even had the means to jamb our radio, and used it, but nobody noticed.
Nobody was even listening for radio jamming. I was over 12 hours getting to hospital.
Had one of them scratched a finger he'd have been given immediate care. (and one was shot in the arm to no ill effect…)
Participate. Or loose this war.
Loose this war, the dope war and you are all slaves and it will not matter how much you owe in taxes ~ to yourselves…
