Even if you do not own an RV, you can still camp without roughing it by using RV rentals. These rentals allow you to spend your vacation in one of the many scenic campgrounds located across the United Sates without having the expense of owning your own RV.
Renting an RV for a few days is a great way for a family to travel together. The cost of renting the RV is less than you would pay for a good quality hotel room. Some of the RV’s that are available for rental sleep up to seven people. You will not find any hotel room that will allow that many persons to sleep in one room. The longer you rent the RV, the less you will pay per night.
Rental RVs are a great trial run for those who are thinking about retiring in an RV.
At the great rates that are available to rent an RV, why tie all of your money up into one of these vehicles that you only plan to use one or two weeks per year. The rental RV allows someone else to be responsible for all the maintenance. All you need to do is schedule your pick up and drop off date and the RV will be ready when you are.
If you plan to fly into and area and spend some time there, then you can plan to pick up and drop off the RV at your destination. This means that you are not going to have to drive the RV all the way across the US but can spend your time in your destination.
Why not use a rental RV for a one way trip. Pick up the RV at home, drive across the country and drop it off. You get to fly back home and someone else can drive all the distance.
